Right Media's Trust and Safety program leverages people, policies, and technology to help create a safer display marketplace for brand-conscious advertisers and publishers. Protections and controls include:
This proprietary, automated program runs every hosted creative or third-party ad tag—and corresponding landing page—through a series of tests based on exchange policies, and is continually scanned and tested as long as the creative is active. If a violation is detected, the client is notified and the creative may be deactivated.
Creative Reviewer provides insight into demand and allows publishers to evaluate creatives and choose to approve or ban them. Creatives can be manually reviewed and approved before they are served, or publishers can allow ads to run first, then identify and ban creatives that do not meet their standards.
A process that combines technology and manual review to help locate and isolate creatives that violate Right Media policies, so they can be eliminated from the marketplace.
Exchange traffic is continually being reviewed by this automated detection program. When SCOURTM identifies behavior patterns reflecting practices that are prohibited by our policies, Right Media takes action to prevent the violating sites and sections from participating in the exchange marketplace.
Validated URL (VURL) Auditing
A combination of technology and manual review helps isolate sites that violate exchange policies, so they can be eliminated from the exchange marketplace.
Buyers can control where their ads are displayed by using channels, section ratings and inventory types.
Buyers can restrict the inventory on which their ads are served, based on specific URLs, subdomains, or URLs containing specific keywords.
Sellers can control which ads are displayed on their sites by offer type, creative theme or creative specification.
Sellers can exclude any advertiser in the exchange from serving on their inventory.
Right Media’s traffic quality monitoring capabilities use a set of rules and pattern recognition-based detection algorithms that analyze click and conversion activity on exchange-wide section traffic. In addition, we also gather and consider informal or secondary data in conjunction with this process to help determine if any sections exhibit suspicious traffic patterns. Sections that are confirmed to be generating suspicious traffic are disabled and section activity does not generate any revenue for the publisher.
Right Media strives to support our customers in their efforts to comply with or support industry self-regulatory standards.
