Create audience segments in Yahoo! Web Analytics and import them into the exchange. You can run either managed or linked demand against the available inventory supply for your segments.
Audience Sharing
Right Media provides a way to share audience segments to media buyers on the exchange, enabling more efficient targeting options and opportunities to monetize audience data.
- Audience segment owners, such as publishers or third-party data providers, can easily expose and share their segments on the exchange, creating additional opportunities to monetize audiences or audiences coupled with inventory. Segment owners maintain control of their audience data and with whom they share those segments.
- Audience segment users, such as advertisers and agencies, have access to a variety of segments on the exchange, enabling them to target more efficiently and reach audiences from multiple owners at the same time.
Audience segments can be shared and targeted for mobile as well, provided that the mobile browser has third-party cookie tracking enabled.
Audience Reports
These reports provide visibility into the performance of audience segments:
- Segment Usage helps audience segment owners and users determine payment for the usage of audience segments. The report tracks impressions, clicks, click-through-rates, conversions, and revenue.
- Population Analysis provides a snapshot of unique members for today, yesterday, the latest 7 days and the latest 30 days for any segments that have been shared.
- Opportunity Analysis enables audience segment owners and users to identify which supply sources on the exchange contain the members of a particular segment.
